it's the most wonderful week of march....

weekend=success

we went to the zoo because it is our second home
Nick is legit because he can talk tiger. he had a lovely conversation with mako
I rule because I took all these awesome pictures of our animal exploits

that otter in the middle straight up posed for the picture

we went to the desert botanical garden because Nick got extra credit for it.
we wouldn't have gone if it wasn't for the EC
because seriously, I can drive out to the desert and see the same junk
but it was pretty fun.
oh and yes, I did take these pictures, and yes I rule

one bad thing about going to the desert garden and zoo on a whim?
forgetting sunblock = SUNBURN

yes, after walking around for 5 hours I was crispy
I still am crispy
and bright as a cherry tomato

yesterday at church I was embarrassed
everyone asked, everyone stared
I told Nick, "if I didn't have a sunburn on my chest, I would think they were all staring at something else..."

Nick got me some aloe and then I had a dream that Mrs. Holexa told me that aloe is bad and that I need to take a fruity chewable to get rid of my sunburn and then the pharmacist ripped me off. true dream

In other news, I am grateful that it is spring break! No school or nofing for da whole week!

Day one of spring break awesomeness-
today has been a good day. I did all the chores that I would have got done on Saturday when we went to the zoo, done.
Nick and I went shopping for groceries on his lunch break, we had a picnic outside, and it has been a beautiful day.
AND tonight we are going over to my parents house for FHE and hamburgers! yay :)
day one = success

hopefully I can find things to do the rest of the week!
what are you doing this week?

{too many} random thoughts

midterms next week
I'm pretty sure I'm going to slaughter them...
or maybe I'll be the one slaughtered
we'll have to see
if I'm not back in 7 days...go get help

I have a teacher named Mrs. Jividen....
we call her Mrs. Gingiva
laugh.
it's funny

I'm loving dental hygiene
removing junk off of people's teeth is so fun {no sarcasm intended}
I have had some great learning experiences lately in lab
It's frustrating for me though, because most of the other students picked easy patients and are done with them, and I have had hard patients that I'm still trying to get finished. It's not about the grade, it's all about learning...{blah, blah, blah}....right?

I'm not loving homework
I've been working on a project for the last week and It's finally done and due tomorrow! There are 6 other projects in the works, 4 midterms next week, and I'm completing 3 patients next week...{too much}

I'm really wishing I had a sewing machine
I have been wanting to get my craft on with the fabrics
some day...

I hate FB bytheway. It is such a waste of time. and the new stuff is C.R.A.P. the end.

I wish I had more time to read. I'm DIEING to get my hands on the hunger games
I'm debating whether or not I should buy or borrow
either way, that is how I will be spending my no-school-allowed spring break

I also wish I had tvo. I'm missing American Idol, the Office, and Sonny with a Chance...
maybe life is better without TV
OR maybe it's driving me crazy!
it's probably the latter...

I HATE the bachelor. I'm sorry if you love it, but it's TOTE-ALLY ridiculous.
"hi i'm rich and i can't get any women in real life because i'm a pig so i have to come on this stupid show to find shallow air-headed bimbos that are only interested in my money and being on tv. but that's ok, because they're hot..." really? I don't understand the fanatic love for this show.
Someone please explain

I'm not eating sugar anymore
I need more energy
I want to be healthier
and losing weight wouldn't be bad either ;)

Nick and I are planning to go somewhere for our anniversary in May
where should we go?
{keep in mind our small budget}
I'm thinking hawaii, or Italy.....or flagstaff

I miss Nick.
We see each other for an hour {if that} in the morning
then we might see each other for half an hour during lunch
and then both of us get home from school around 9:30 every night
{except for tonight} we're usually in bed by 11 to wake up by 7
that only gives us 3 hours to see each other...
it's driving me crazy!
thank goodness for the weekends

was that enough random thoughts for you?
I would be surprised if anyone even read this...
well, it was good to get it off of my mind

what are you thinking about right this moment?

loves,
Kristin
