I know I hardly write posts on here anymore, but that’s a sign of a full busy life right?
We recently moved into a new place and we LOVE IT! It’s so nice to get out of our tiny apartment and spread our legs a bit more. Now we just need to buy a bunch of goodies to fill the space, right? :)
The night we moved in we had our friends over for a movie and yummies. The first thing I found out is that we need more seating. I figured this out the hard way by graciously giving up a comfy spot on the couch for the lovely new hard wood flooring…
So my plan for our large wooded living room space is a huge shaggy carpet (my mother already tried to tell me how hard those are to take care of, but I figure I could throw a rug shaking party and BAM, taken care of) then get some huge comfy bean bags (sans beans) and voila! Cozy place to entertain guests.
One negative thing (if you can call it negative) is that since there is SO MUCH space, that equals SO MUCH space to plan out decorative crap and cleaning constantly crap. Lots of crap. Grateful for the space, but in the meantime I have crap. Does that make sense? I’m overwhelmed when I think about how much it will cost to properly fulfill my decorative dreams. I better start hitting up the DIY blogs and learn to make myself a shag carpet and bean bags…
