Too bad the pioneers didn't have light sabers

i love sundays
we get to teach lessons like "i'm grateful for birds and insects"
not to be confused with the "birds and the bees" ...

so as Nick was teaching the lesson and talking about the pioneers and how their crops were being eaten by crickets and they couldn't get rid of them, one of our sunbeams interrupted...

"I would kill the crickets with my light saber!"
Nick: Well there were hundreds of thousands of crickets
"well I would get hundreds of thousands of light sabers!"
Nick: Too bad the pioneers didn't have light sabers...

oh the innocence of 3 year olds

today I also got to hold the CUTEST baby rabbit

and got peed on by said rabbit...not so cute

Nick found a new "spankin' stick"
Not to mention he's rockin his new hair cut
so handsome

We played like children
And why were we all looking at Nick and Nick at the camera? Too funny
Ok, stop looking at Nick and look at the camera!
there we go...
and what's that on the left?!
It's the little purse snatcher caught in the act!

I conquered one of my greatest fears:
LOU
Big dogs scare me enough as it is, but seriously, we're the same height!

Here are some other pictures of our adventures as of late that I have been too lazy to post...

we went camping and cooked our food on these cool gas camp stoves that Nick made
I love camping, but that night was full of miserable adventures I don't want to repeat. Let's hope that the next time we go camping it will not be SO WINDY

check out my handsome husband rockin his long hair :)

Oh and heather is {finally} engaged!Wedding date to be determined...
when they finally decide this next decision i'll let you know
may be a month or two..

So we got to die easter eggs this year
the only problem is that we bought a cheap die kit so our eggs looked like this...
dissolved much?

well, this is how they looked after we wiped off the outer layer...
not exactly what we wanted, but we had fun anyway

so that's what we've been up to
and now we have to go back to school tomorrow...yucky
loves,
kristin

Mailbag

Dear blog readers – yes I am alive. Life is busy and sometimes I have no desire to even write on this blog. But here I am. So be grateful or something

Dear Dollar Store – you are the best dollar store I have ever beheld. Your isles and isles of forgotten candies, expired food, and your ever popular lingerie section have captured the hearts of many. I am personally a fan of your school and dental supplies, but maybe someday I'll venture into the slinky section…or not. Advice- leave the lacey stuff to Victoria

Dear little brother – you are too cute. Your high pitched 4 year old voice, passion for Indiana Jones legos, and untidy carrot top fills my heart with love for you. When you said the prayer over Easter dinner and said "bless everyone…except the bad guys" how could you blame us for giggling? Don't change.

Dear Calculus – I wish I was referring to the mathematical kind, but alas you are hard crap stuck to the surfaces of my patient's mouths. You make my back hurt, and I'm sure I will have carpal tunnel some day. One day Nick will get tired of giving me daily back therapy because of you and then I'll have to go to a chiropractor. Will you do me a favor? Will you please come off my patient tonight? Great, thanks.

Dear Conference – you were much needed. I wish you were more often than every 6 months

Dear Nick – I love you. Staying up till 3am the past 4 days has been fun. I especially have enjoyed the bubble gum blowing contests, late night trips to Filli B's, and laughing till we cry. I can't believe we have almost been married a year! You are the greatest

Dear Amy Butler – can you just give me all of your fabrics please? I am in love with the colors and patterns you so artistically put together. I wish I had more time/money to use your fabrics for all of the projects I want to do right now. Sigh…

Dear Girls Night – you were so fun. When the guys leave us for priesthood lessons and dinner we party. This was the first time that I partied with my MIL and SILs. We had so much fun going to Paradise Bakery and getting our toe nails painted.

Dear School – please be over soon. I want to go to Disneyland and Havasupai and just chill. Also could you please make next year go by fast? I want to be done with darn school, take my boards and just get working! I hate you, but I love you. I will be sad all the same when you are over.

Happy Tuesday all!

Loves, Kristin
