back to this...

It's a bitter sweet reunion.
PRO's
My brain is happy and challenged to the nth degree.
I get to spend A LOT of time with some great girls I have met in the program
I feel accomplished and productive
CON's
Nick and I hardly see each other during the week. thank goodness for the weekends!
the house gets seriously neglected when school is the main focus
no more reading for pleasure...just big fatty text books...
the weekend was wonderful bliss that I wished wouldn't end.
it consisted of:
double date with Marky Mark and Amy
-making homemade spaghetti and a crazy french desert that we called "Snowman poop"

well, it was a great rejuvenation, but now it's back to reality!
how ironic that "Manic Monday" just came on the radio...
OH, by the way...
anyone interested in being my dental hygiene patient for school?
If you don't have dental insurance:
the cost will be around $75 (respectively)
which is generally about $50-$60 cheaper than going to a regular hygienist
If you have dental insurance:
you will still have to pay the fee, BUT
you will be reimbursed
you just have to make sure your dental insurance will accept the services done at the dental school.
then you can turn in the papers to your insurance and they should give you a full refund,
since hygiene services are usually fully covered by insurance
You might be wondering why in the world you would want to do this, but it would be REALLY helping me out! We start working on patients a week from today, and I don't have anyone to fill up my first spots!
If you can't, don't worry. The dental school will give me patients, but I kinda wanted my first couple of patients not to be complete strangers so that I wasn't too nervous.
ANYWAY, have a happy week!

Hi, I'm Chloe! I love your blog, but I'm not very good at commenting. I know I should leave you more comments, since I've been reading your blog for months... So here's my first comment!
As I said before, I love your blog :)
I'm engaged and have just moved to my new house, where I live with my fiancé since December 2009. And I'm studying a Master's degree... So I empathize with you quite a lot. We have similar lifestyles ;)

Kristin! I know how you feel! Hygiene is stressful, but so much fun. As for your patients, I know the feeling of begging..haha. BUT it is SO FUN to be in clinic and work on a real patient. You'll do GREAT! You always do :) Hope you are doing awesome!
