I have tried to write at least four posts in the last 2 weeks, but guess what? I realized that I have a life that is way too busy, and way too boring to post that often. Every time I go to write something I think, "What can I write about? school, school, nick, school, school, lucy, school..." Seriously, that's it. I do have some thoughts
It seems that everyone has a "bucket list". Why is that? A lot of the time, the people who have bucket lists have a strong desire to travel the world. Actually, everyone who I know that has a bucket list wants to travel A LOT. My "bucket list" is a lot more simple than that
kick'in-the-bucket list:
properly shell a hard boiled egg
live somewhere other than Mesa
sing all the words to "singing in the rain", in the rain
own at least one dog for the rest of my life
live in a cottage in the woods
learn at least one song to play on my guitar {that I got 3 years ago...}
paint on a large canvas and hang it up in my living room
write a book series
have 10 pairs of glasses, one in each color {to coordinate with outfits of course}
teach at a dental hygiene school
have a circular roomed library with floor to ceiling bookshelves filled with all kinds of books, complete with sliding ladder
own a professional camera
give birth to my children
properly document each of my children's lives through film
be a public speaker about dental products or technology
read the Book of Mormon as many times as my age in years
visit every state in my home country
volunteer as a public health worker
learn to speak Spanish fluently
have my own flower/vegetable garden
design and build our own house
go to Disney world
go scuba diving with dolphins
learn to tap dance
these are just a few things off the top of my head. It's actually fun to write a bucket list and realize all of the dreams you have for life. It's especially nice to do when bogged down with the monotony of school. I can't wait for school to be over so I can start checking off some of these items from my list!
